Pencil Sketches and Tonal StudiesWhen I lived in Orlando, in my early years of college studies, I was introduced by a gentleman by the name of Eddie Pittman. At the time he was with Walt Disney Animation. Eddie suggested to me that if I wanted to go into computer animation, studying traditional animation first was the key. So I applied to Sheridan College in Toronto, Ontario, was accepted. It was an intensive 3 years of boot camp like exercises in art but it was well worth the long hours. Below is just a small collection of some sketches and tonal studies.
